Conformiti is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB), whose central responsibility is to ensure that private parking management organisations adhere to the provisions and standards set out under the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019.

The granular detail and day-to-day application of the Parking Act’s Code of Practice is prescribed by the Private Parking Certification Scheme (PPCS), developed by the Department for Levelling-Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC). 

Conformiti is tasked with ensuring that private parking organisations fully comply with the PPCS. It is only through full compliance with the PPCS that a private parking organisation may obtain registered keeper data from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) to enforce a parking charge or pursue an unpaid parking tariff on private land.
